Administration and Configuration of WebSphere MQ 8.0./9.0/9.1 on different environments like Aix, Solaris, Linux, Windows (MSCS).
Installation/Up-gradation of WebSphere MQ on various Authorised Platforms.
Setting MQ clustering/HA environment & triggering and monitoring and defining MQ objects in Unix, Windows Platforms.
Providing Enhanced support for all new projects wherever MQ is involved.
Configuration and troubleshooting of SSL for Queue managers and Message Brokers.
Deployment and troubleshooting of Message Flows.
Creation of IBM MQ and Execution groups and Enabling and reading trace for the message flows
Be available to join MIM/Production outage calls
Work with IBM vendor for any product related issues and apply fix
Basic UNIX shell scripting skills for MQ administration and Support activities
Applying patches for IBM WebSphere MQ and Setting up subscriptions on Message Queuing.
Supporting 16*5 model and weekend on-call support in troubleshooting problems to help systems stability and integrity, which results in customer’s utmost satisfaction.
Good knowledge in the functionality of ITIL process which includes Change management, Incident management, Problem management and Release management.
Participated in MQ Disaster Recovery exercise on Unix environments.
Strong debugging and problem solving skills with excellent understanding of system development methodologies, techniques and tools.
